Clear braces consist of clear monocrystalline sapphire brackets that are nearly invisible. They’re attached with very thin metal wires.
Like traditional metal braces, they’re affixed permanently to your teeth, and periodically adjusted to gradually bring your teeth into better alignment.
Clear braces offer a more aesthetically pleasing alternative to unsightly metal braces, while providing equal effectiveness.
The length of time you'll wear your clear braces depends on the type and severity of your problems, as well as other factors such as age and general physiology. In general, however, braces are worn for at least a year and sometimes as long as two years.
