Invisalign is a simple, painless system that allows you to realign your teeth gently and effectively using a series of clear, almost invisible aligners that are worn daily, but removed for cleaning and eating.
How Invisalign works
First, we will take a precise impression of your teeth as they are.
We will then discuss with you the ideal final position of your teeth, taking into account both cosmetics and the structure of your jaw and mouth to ensure the health and function of your temporomandibular joint, or TMJ.
We will custom design a series of aligners for you, using a computer program which visualizes each step of the straightening process. For each step, we’ll provide a set of aligners, typically about 10 to 25 or so sets
You wear each aligner for two weeks. At the end of each two-week period, you discard the current aligners and start wearing the next set in the series.
Each one gently coaxes your teeth one step closer to your straight new smile.
You’ll be checking in with us about every 6 weeks, so we can gauge your progress and answer any questions you may have.
